When יְהֹוָהgave the Torah to Israel at Mount Sinai - שבועות
One of the 3 Jewish pilgrimage festivals, and marks
the conclusion of the Omer Count, which started at Pesach, 2nd Day.
The Jews were freed from Egyptian slavery after having been excluded from the
death of the first born in Egypt. Seven weeks later they were given the Torah at
Mount Sinai and became a nation of ֶהְיֶה אֲשֶׁר אֶהְיֶה. The Holy Day is celebrated by an all-night Torah reading session.
